Data this website gathers, how we handle it, and what we don't do. Effective September 19, 2026.

The quote tool

The quote form collects gender, date of birth, self-reported health status, tobacco history, desired coverage and term years. These are sent to the carriers' quoting backend for rate calculations but are not retained here. You need not provide name, address, phone or email to see quotes. Identical requests may be cached briefly to spare redundant lookups.

Applying

If you apply, your answers populate a secure application on the carriers' system, and their privacy terms take over. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California insurer (License 0B75129), processes applications.

The contact form

The contact form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred reply method, message topic, and message text. The agency receives it by email, using your address to reply. This website does not retain a copy, maintain a submissions database, or log message text. A brief browser-side anti-abuse check runs before submission.

Measurement

Page tracking here uses first-party, cookieless analytics from this domain. We set no cookies or local trackers; IP addresses get masked by two bytes before logging; referrer query strings are stripped; raw logs purge at day 90. Browsers signaling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control bypass measurement entirely.

What we do not do

This site does not sell or share personal data, employ advertising trackers, or pull in third-party analytics. The sole third-party code is the carriers' application interface, which runs only when you navigate to the application page.
